ArcMap

Understanding the basics of data collection, interpretation , and geocoding

Project overview- The Maps here represent two of the main ArcMap function geocoding and finding, cleaning, and interpreting data. The map on the left demonstrates the geocoding project wherein I used the Oak park shape files and a different data table containing data about Frank Lloyd Wright Houses in Oak Park. Cleaned and Geo coded this data into points which were then Symbolized to get the following map. While The maps on the bottom were made by obtaining county data and shape files for the state of Illinois from the US Census Bureau. Following the data gathering, data for the communities of Cook County, as well as their populations, were extracted, represented, and labeled to provide the following output.
